Russians barred to enter Ukraine posed threat to national security - SBU

The Security Service of Ukraine, SBU, barred entry in Ukraine to 2 Russians saying their activities threatened the country’s security, SBU deputy head Mykola Herasymenko told journalists Nov. 26.

“They are not Russian academics. They are spin-doctors and members of an organization striving to operate in Ukraine and, violating our laws, threatening our national security,” Herasymenko said.

Describing the Russians, the SBU official said they are young people who do not have any respect for our country. The Russians spoke at the rallies and carried out activities banned for aliens in Ukraine.

The SBU has imposed a 2-year ban on the Russians to enter Ukraine.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Office strongly protested the incident in the Boryspil airport involving the Russian spin-doctors.

A source close to Crimean political experts says the Russians have been implicated in illegally funding the Leonid Hrach bloc, a party advocating ceding the peninsula to Russia.

- They should ban Terry Hallman who has been illegally operating in Ukraine since 2002. Whist is a self proclaimed "civil rights activist" who also claims he is a successful businessman who manages a successful economic development company.
  A due diligence review failed to show any successful projects or investments in Ukraine. Hallman has accused the Ukrainian government of a conspiracy of genocide and mass murder of children in order to try and promote a dodgy business scheme where he wants 1.5 billion dollars to create a Wimax internet network, the profits to fund Ukrainian orphanages. Such practises would not be allowed in the west.
  He even filled in his own visa invitation using a company that has no asserts, no registered address and no taxation records.
  When asked to provide independent referees to back up his claims he refused instead attacking those who dared to raise questions about his activities in Ukraine.
  He clams he is closely associated with bill Clinton, Eben though bill clinton's office does not know him. He claims he has access to USAid funding yet US aid does not know him. He is not registered with US Aid as a provider.
  He and his partner Jeff Mowatt came to Ukraine looking for a wife. Hallman use to run a forum on wife hunting in Ukraine and Russia.
