It was 11 defiant NUNS members who derailed the government draft 2008 budget. Had Yushchenko wished, those 11 would have voted for the draft, as Yushchenko knows how to make them toe the line. Had the draft been approved, the 30 billion hryvnias in extra budgetary revenue would have been used to benefit the nation. It is understandable when the opposition is against the draft, it is strange that NUNS lawmakers do not vote for it, Denkovych added.

Simultaneously, the lawmaker has assured once again that the coalition will continue as the bulk of Our Ukraine supports the government. “We will carry on till September and there will be no snap elections in September as it is common knowledge that only BYUT can benefit from it.
