Ukraine lawmakers to get fat vacation bonuses - $7,000 each
July09200817:27
This summer, 450 Verkhovna Rada deputies will get the total of $3 million as summer vacation money plus subsidies for spa treatment, The Delo writes. Ironically, lawmakers do not know yet (or do not care) how much they will receive.Lawmaker Andry Parubij says he hasn’t applied for the money yet. Volodymyr Vyazivsky said he is not aware about how much he will get for spa treatment, but says it will be a sufficient sum. Oleh Zarubinsky echoed his buddies in VR, adding that lawmakers will get much less than the cabinet and presidential secretariat officials.
Interestingly, all the polled lawmakers believe they have earned a good vacation, saying they worked hard.
