May 27, the Wizz Air Ukraine company showcased its first low-cost travel program for flights from Lviv to Kyiv and Symferopol. The ticket’s starting price is only UAH99 and includes taxes and airport dues. The company has already sold about 2,000 tickets. Their price will grow as the day of the flight comes nearer, the ZIK correspondent reports.

According to Wizz Air Ukraine general director Natalia Kazmer, the flights will be carried out on Airbus A 380 to be delivered from its manufacturing plant in Toulouse, France on June 27. The plane costs $66 million and carries 180 passengers.

“Our target passenger group includes those who travel by cars, trains and busses. We offer low prices because, notably, we cooperate with high-traffic regional airports.”

The company will make 6 flights from Lviv to Kyiv a week, 6 from Kyiv to Odesa, 8 from Kyiv to Symferopol and 8 from Symferopol to Lviv.

Tickets can be booked on the company’s website, by calling to its call-center or via tourist agencies. However, the last option is more expensive. Tickets booked early cost cheaper than those bought several days before the flight.

    • Wizzair doesn't use Airbus A380! Not even 1 low-cost airplane company owns or has ordered a A380 up to today! And even ifWizzair did have A380, not Lviv and no any other airport in Ukraine can land or or take off such a big plane.
