Poland wants Euro-2012 to be a success story

There are no grounds whatsoever for transferring Euro-2012 from Poland and Ukraine to an alternative venue, Poland’s Ambassador to Ukraine Jacek Kluczkowski said, speaking at his Feb.22 press conference in Lutsk, ZIK reportsNobody is talking about stripping Ukraine and Poland of their right to host the Euro-2012 tournament. Football community in Europe just pushes both countries to accelerate preparations for Euro-2012, the Polish ambassador clarified.
Simultaneously, the diplomat said he doesn’t want Euro-20-12 to have the same plight as the Athens Olympics. Volyn Governor Mykola Romaniuk assured that Euro-2012 is high on President Yushchenko’s and government’s agenda.
