Japan’s Mitsut gauges agricultural potential of Ternopil oblast

A team of experts from Japan’s Mitsut Corporation came to Ternopil oblast, oblast governor’s press service reports Feb. 8. -Local officials showcased the oblast’s food industry and agriculture investment potential and took their Japanese guests to a farm in the area.
Specifically, deputy governors Andry Flissak and Petro Vovchuk stressed that an investor to produce bio diesel fuel will be welcome. Oblast farmers grow enough inputs to start commercial production of bio fuel in Ternopil. Presently, the bulk of inputs is sold in Europe.
The Ternopil oblast has a large potential for creating growing and food-processing joint ventures. Important, the food grown by Ternopil farmers is environmentally clean.
