Rescue workers have saved three women after gas exploded in a building on Kostiushka St.in Lviv. The women were rushed to the hospital for treatment. One man is believed to be under debris in a 3rd-floor apartment which was the center of the blast. Rescuers cannot reach him because of the threat of a building collapse. However, head of ministry for emergencies oblast department Serhy Dmytrovsky says there can be bodies of other residents buried under heaps of debris on the ground floor, the ZIK correspondent reports from the scene of the tragedy.In total, 10 persons have been hospitalized, one woman in grave condition and suffering from burns. Head of oblast health care department Ihor Herych is on his way from Kyiv to the scene of the accident. His deputy Petro Fedun is taking care of the injured residents.
