Poland must compensate losses inflicted on Ukrainian international truck carriers by Polish customs strike

The government of Poland must repay the losses incurred by Ukrainian truck carriers due to a strike by Polish border officials. This is the opinion of the Ukrainian Association of Transport Employers. The association had already petitioned the ministries of the economy and foreign affairs, the ZIK correspondent quotes Valery Chernenko, a representative of the association, as saying Jan. 29.The association has demanded that all the losses inflicted on Ukrainian carriers, amounting to Hr 50-60 million daily, be officially confirmed by the ministries and the final tally be relayed to the Polish government.
